The Annul Clancy Management Day for 2023 took place in Dublin Zoo. Staff made their way to the capital from every corner of the country for a fun-filled and enjoyable day of activities.
Following breakfast, the day kicked off with a series of presentations from members of the Clancy board of directors including Managing Director John O’Shaughnessy, Dublin Regional Director Chris Chambers, CQES Director Declan Fitzpatrick and Associate Director Tom O’Malley.
John thanked all of the Clancy staff for their work throughout the year and spoke passionately about his pride of everyone adhering to the core values of Safety, Professionalism, Quality, Commitment and Teamwork/Collaboration on a daily basis.
Presentations from Dublin Zoo followed including one from Dr Christoph Schwitzer detailing their 10-year strategic plan – “Dublin Zoo 200”. The Clancy staff engaged with a series of questions about the daily running of the zoo, sustainability initiatives and of course the animals.
After the presentations, the staff were taken on a guided tour of the Zoo to see some of the animals on show. Everyone enjoyed lunch before making their way to the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise for the evening part of the day which included a Gala dinner that night.
