Clancy are delighted to have agreed a 12-month sponsorship with Tipperary-based Professional Darts Player, Dylan Slevin. The Borrisokane man and has just turned 21, he is viewed by many as the most exciting up and coming Irish players on the circuit.
2023 was his first year on the tour having secured his card in January and he made his TV debut last Friday at the Players Championship Finals. He will be making his World Championship debut at Alexandra Palace in the coming weeks, live on Sky Sports – facing Florian Hempel in Round 1 on Sunday December 17th at 7.15pm. The winner of this will advance to play 15th seed Dimitri Van Den Bergh Friday December 22nd.
We were thrilled to welcome Dylan to our HQ in Drangan this week where he met members of staff and young fans as well as throwing some darts too! Speaking at the presentation, Clancy Managing Director John O’Shaughnessy said “We’re delighted to be supporting a Tipperary person. He’s a young guy, 21 years of age starting out in his career, and he needs as much support as he can from sponsors.” “To get the opportunity to support Dylan, a Tipperary based professional in Darts is really a huge opportunity for us”.
