Clancy Donate €20,000 to Charities for Christmas

Christmas is a time for giving and this Christmas Clancy have donated a combined total of €20,000 to six excellent Irish Charities. Unicef, Dublin Simon Community, St Vincent De Paul, The Jack and Jill Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and National Breast Cancer Research Institute were all selected by the Clancy Board of Directors as the beneficiaries of our annual Christmas Charity initiative.

Clancy donated €2,500 to Unicef Ireland with Head of Corporate Partnerships Owen Buckley saying that “UNICEF greatly appreciates Clancy’s contribution, which provides support to the world’s most vulnerable children before, during and after emergencies through the deployment of expert staff across all programme areas, scaling up of solutions worldwide, leading and pioneering new ideas for children and meeting their needs throughout childhood and adolescence.”

The Dublin Simon Community also received a cheque for €2,500 with Julia Fortes of Simon saying they “We are grateful for Clancy’s unwavering partnership in 2023. The incredible donation of €2,500 to Dublin Simon Community this Christmas embodies the true spirit of giving. Together, we’re making a difference that truly matters. Thank you for your generosity and commitment.”

The National Breast Cancer Research Institute received a €5,000 from Clancy. Patrick Casey – Operations Manager at the National Breast Cancer Research Institute said “All at the National Breast Cancer Research Institute would like to thank Clancy’s Christmas generous donation as part of their generous Christmas Gifting Initiative, it speaks volumes of their commitment to making a meaningful impact. All monies donated will go directly into supporting advancements in medical research to combat and raise awareness about breast cancer. Thank you for partnering with us in the pursuit of advancing breast cancer research.”

The next contribution of €2,500 went to The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. Alison Sheridan – Head of Fundraising at Jack and Jill said “this generous donation from Clancy will go towards funding 138 hours of vital in home nursing care for over 400 families in communities nationwide. With a fundraising target of €1million to raise this Christmas, this kind gesture will go along way to support our families #Home4Christmas.”

Clancy donated €2,500 to Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland with Chief Executive Officer Joe Kenny thanking all of the team at Clancy Construction for the generosity. “Every year we do our best to make Christmas at The Ronald McDonald House as special and memorable as we can, for all the right reasons. We simply could not do this without your support. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of many families this Christmas. We look forward to working with you next year.”

Finally, St Vincent De Paul received a cheque for €5,000 from Clancy. The Society of St Vincent de Paul provide a wide range of services for vulnerable people through our local offices, shops, resource centres, housing, day care and holiday schemes amongst other things.
