Clancy Team Raises €13,110 for Movember Ireland

Clancy was proud to welcome Kieran Murphy, South East Brand Ambassador with Movember Ireland, to our Head Office in Drangan recently to mark the success of this year’s Movember fundraising campaign.

Members of the Clancy team gathered to present a cheque for €13,110, a truly outstanding amount raised throughout November. The total reflects the incredible effort, enthusiasm, and generosity shown by colleagues across the company who supported the campaign in a variety of ways during the month.

Movember is a global movement that raises awareness and funding for some of the most pressing issues affecting men’s health, including mental health challenges, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. By taking part in the initiative, the Clancy team joined thousands of people around the world working to change the conversation around men’s health and encourage earlier action and support.

Throughout November, staff across Clancy embraced the spirit of Movember. From growing moustaches to organising fundraising activities, the campaign generated great engagement across the business and helped spark important conversations about men’s health and wellbeing.

The success of the fundraising effort was made possible not only by the dedication of Clancy employees, but also by the exceptional support received from our wider network. We would like to extend a very sincere thank you to our sub contractors and suppliers whose generosity and encouragement played a significant role in reaching this remarkable total. The response from our partners was truly overwhelming and highlights the strong sense of community and shared purpose within the Clancy network.

Associate Director Des Riordan in preparation for Movember

Speaking during the visit to Drangan, Kieran Murphy from Movember Ireland thanked the team for their commitment to the cause and the impact the funds will have in supporting vital programmes and research.

At Clancy, we are proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The funds raised will help Movember Ireland continue its important work in improving men’s mental health outcomes, advancing research into prostate and testicular cancer, and supporting programmes aimed at preventing suicide among men.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and supported the campaign. Your generosity and enthusiasm have helped make a real and lasting difference.

Together, Team Clancy is helping to change the face of men’s health.
