Clancy Homes Proud to Support the Future of Irish Snooker

Clancy Homes is delighted to announce a new partnership with Snooker and Billiards Ireland (SBI), supporting the development of junior snooker across Ireland for the next three years.

The partnership officially launched on Saturday, 31st January at the SBI Academy in Carlow, where young players, their families, coaches and volunteers gathered to celebrate the occasion and mark the beginning of this exciting collaboration. Representing Clancy Homes at the event was Nigel Cooke, who had the opportunity to meet many of the talented junior players who will benefit from the sponsorship, along with the dedicated coaches and volunteers who work tirelessly to nurture the sport and support the next generation of players.

Through this partnership, Clancy Homes will support a range of key development initiatives designed to strengthen junior snooker in Ireland. These include national and local development days that provide young players with opportunities to improve their skills, the National Junior Shoot Out competition, and the continued development of elite junior squads at Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 level.

In addition, the partnership will support team clothing for players representing Ireland at international competitions, ensuring that young Irish players competing on the world stage can do so with pride while representing their country.

Junior snooker plays a vital role in the continued growth of the sport in Ireland, offering young people opportunities to develop not only their sporting ability but also important life skills such as discipline, focus, resilience and confidence. Through structured training, competitions and mentoring from experienced coaches, young players are given the platform to reach their full potential both on and off the table.

At Clancy Homes, supporting communities and investing in future generations is a core part of the company’s values. By partnering with Snooker and Billiards Ireland, Clancy Homes is proud to contribute to the development of young athletes and help create opportunities for talented players to grow and succeed within the sport.

Clancy Homes looks forward to working closely with Snooker and Billiards Ireland over the coming years and wishes all the junior players, coaches and volunteers every success in the seasons ahead.
