Fixing Priory Hall
Project name and location
Priory Hall Renovation, Donaghmede, Dublin
Priory Hall has left a deep black mark on the Irish construction landscape. It has become synonymous with all that was wrong with the construction industry and has spawned the Building Control (Amendement) Regulations and the Construction Industry Register Ireland. We are currently working to strip out and retrofit all the required elements to make two of the blocks safely habitable.
The challenge here is obvious enough to those who have followed the story. The building was built with little or no fireproofing. The challenge here is working within the confines of an existing structure to bring the building up to standard. This is an example of why it’s easier do something right first time.
We are currently on site and on programme and working closely with the design teams to fix Priory Hall.
