St James Hospital 2 storey extension to central pathology building

This project involved a New two storey extension to the northern elevation of the Central Pathology Building with a gross floor area of 453 Sq.m and alterations to part of existing building with a gross floor area of 167 Sq.m to provide new laboratory accommodation and ancillary areas, together with the removal of an existing temporary building, external paving and site services to provide a new facility for the NCHCD.

This project was carried out on a very confined site adjacent to the St James LUAS line; all hospital activities remained uninterrupted during the course of the project.

The project was completed to a high quality finish, on time, within budget and safely.
