Clancy successfully delivered a fast-paced healthcare project at UHL, featuring a 16-bed ward on the ground floor, a future-ready shell and core space on the first floor, and a fully equipped plant room on the second floor. The project involved complex site clearance, relocation of essential services, and precise installation of 120 piles, all while ensuring minimal disruption to existing hospital operations. Using an innovative rapid-build LGS structural system, construction progressed simultaneously on both the east and west halves of the building, optimizing time and efficiency.
The seamless internal fitout, including M&E systems, partitioning, fire barriers, and external cladding, was executed with precision, alongside key safety measures such as radon protection and staged insulation. This project is a testament to Clancy’s expertise in delivering high-quality, time-sensitive healthcare infrastructure.
