Clancy delivered a new Ward Block within an existing courtyard on the UHL Campus. The project involved the diversion of live services and the relocation of temporary office units within the works zone to facilitate the construction of the new facility across two buildings. The completed development provided additional accommodation on the campus, including patient bedrooms with specialist bariatric provision, staff changing facilities, clinical support spaces, clean and dirty utility rooms, accessible WCs, storage areas, and a new lift core. The works also included the installation and commissioning of a fully fitted mechanical and electrical plant room, incorporating air handling units, heating systems, domestic water services, IT infrastructure, and an ESB room, ensuring the facility was operational from day one.
